These systems can remember 4 remotes. To erase lost or stolen remotes, program in enough new remotes to bump out the old ones. The valet button, hopefully mounted in a position where you can access it from the driver’s seat, which is plugged into the blue port of the receiver under your dash, will be used during the programming procedure. Turn the key to ON. Press the valet button ONCE, press again and hold it. Don’t let go until instructed. Press the I button on the remote. Release the valet button. Take out the key. Now your I button operates Lock and Unlock. If that’s all your old remote did then you are done. If not then continue.
Turn the key to ON. Press the valet button TWICE, press again and hold it. Don’t let go until instructed. Press the II button on the remote. Release the valet button. Take out the key. Now your II button operates Timer Mode. If that’s all your old remote did then you are done. If not then continue. Turn the key to ON. Press the valet button THREE times, press again and hold it. Don’t let go until instructed. Press both buttons on the remote TOGETHER. Release the valet button. Take out the key. Now when you press both buttons together they operate the remote starter. It is still possible to get replacement remotes to replace your lost or stolen remotes and also replacement cases to repair your remote when the electronics are working but the plastic cracked.
