If you have a push button no slot then use a cwtwb1u840 (cwtwb1u815 will only start with key up close and will not program remote functions

Ordering was a breeze and the remote came as specified in one week.  Unfortunately the dealer, who noticed it was an after market remote, told me that they could not program it correctly.  It will only turn the car on if the fob is very near or touching the start button.  It will not lock/unlock the car doors electronically.  I have to use the manual key that was cut to unlock and lock the door.   Disappointed.  It looks exactly like the original key so I am not sure why this happened. Fortunately I didn't spend a fortune for the replacement fob at Remotes Remotes.
