vw key with remote March 31, 2017 Reviewer: Chris Fischer from lawrenceburg, IN United States   Nice product looks great .The VW dealer said he would not cut the key for me he was afraid it would damage his key cutter what a dick, he said if i bought a blank from him for 75 dollars he would cut his blank to work so i found a lock smith that would cut it for 50 dollars Was this review helpful to you?

It work perfectly once i called locksmith February 1, 2017 Reviewer: Princeton Adair from Elk Grove , CA United States   The key came in perfect condition. I had to call local locksmith to have key cut and programmed which cost 160 but was a cheaper route than going to Volkswagon dealership which caused around 300 dollars. The key has no problems so far and i can't complain as I only paid 22 dollars for it. Was this review helpful to you?

So Far So Good January 11, 2017 Reviewer: M. Welborn from Wiscasset, ME United States   This remote is a bargain!  Your price is easily the least expensive among your competitors.  I cannot program this remote yet because I do not have the second key together with the first key to properly perform the programming.  When my daughter brings the second key from college I will attempt to program this remote.  I expect this will work easily, and this remote only needs to open and close the locks.  If I have difficulty, I will be in contact with you.  Thank you for a great product at a great price. VW Jetta FOB August 9, 2016 Reviewer: Oscar Ornelas from Santa Ana, CA United States   I ordered the wrong year by accident 2001 instead of a 2001 for my VW Jetta I decided to give it a try anyways and after looking at a YouTube video on how to program I was a similar model it worked right away.  I saved a lot of money and time. Remote January 17, 2016 Reviewer: Timothy Perry from Hastings, FL United States   It worked perfect.All i had to do is put the key in the ignition turn it forward like i was going to start the car but dont start the car and then i removed the part of the door handle where the key goes and stuck a screw driver in where the key goes and turn the lock  waited 10 secounds and then turn the screw driver back to the unlock postion and then hit the lock button on the remote and let go for 2 secounds and hit the lock button again and it beep and then i know it was program.It works perfect and the vw dealer wanted 200 plus to do it and a locksmith wanted over 200. it took only 15 minutes to do it love thank you so much im so happy know Was this review helpful to you?

worked February 5, 2015 Reviewer: Moabit from Raeford, NC United States   I needed a new one because the old one quit on me. This one worked and came ready to go. I would have liked some type of key ring on it to attach it to my existing key ring but other than that I am really happy with this remote. I even was able to program it.
