New keyless entry remote control car flip key fob August 2, 2016 Reviewer: Mark Bohnert from LOOGOOTEE, IN United States   Excellent replacement for my 2003 Volkswagen passat key fob! No need to take it to dealership to have it reprogrammed or have key cut, just pull top half off of old key fob and and put it on new key fob and go through steps to program in owners manual and good to go Was this review helpful to you?

remote March 15, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Flower Mound, TX United States   I took it to a VW dealership and they said that they wouldn't cut the key because it would damage their equipment and that the programming 'probably' wouldn't work and if it didn't,  I wouldn't get my $126 back.  This probably isn't an issue with the key but VW but I may never know if it would have worked. Received it quickly & it works great March 15, 2016 Reviewer: Tammy Cockrell from Colorado Springs, CO United States   I placed this order to replace my daughter's 2002 VW Jetta keyless entry fob that she lost (all we had left was a valet key) & the dealer wanted an arm & a leg! I was so thrilled to find this site, because it saved me about $125. I still had to pay the dealer to program & cut it, for a total of $105 compared to their $265 Was this review helpful to you?

Key FOB HLO1J0959753AM, HLO1J0959753DC December 3, 2015 Reviewer: David   Key FOB worked as advertised on my 2002 Volkswagen Passat. Part number matched my original FOB perfectly. I was able to get the key cut and FOB chip programmed at a local locksmith. You must program the chip otherwise vehicle does not recognize the key and the immobilizer will activate preventing key from being used and shutting down the vehicle.
