My only complaint is that it did not come with the chip that is needed to start the car. I took this to a locksmith and he informed me after cutting the key and trying it to see if everything worked.So I had to purchase a chip as well. Was this review helpful to you?

For 2006 Toyota Rav 4 January 24, 2020 Reviewer: Frank Rossi from Irwin, PA United States   Works perfect, Replaced old worn out key that the remote buttons were falling out. My electronics inside the key were fine. They are in a nice one piece design. Opened up my old keys, took out the electronics and dropped them in to the new key blanks, had them cut at my local hardware store. Now I have 2 brand new keys that the remote buttons work like new. I actually think the buttons are designed better than the original. No Chip in the 2006 Rav 4 keys to worry about programming. Toyota wanted big $ to replace. Was this review helpful to you?
