5 of 5 RemotesRemotes.com saved me $400+ June 12, 2018

2006 Scion Tc:  Original fob buttons were disintegrated. Dealer wanted $200+ each for new key + programming time. Original transmitters still work, so all I needed were the shells from RemotesRemotes.com. Tricky part was removing security chips from original fobs. A little patience, a steady hand and a sharp Exacto knife did the trick (there's a DIY video on YouTube). Put chips, transmitters and new batteries in the new shells and had cut at a local locksmith. Everything works as good as new!

5 of 5 Great way to refresh your old key November 30, 2017
Reviewer: Robert Ciatto Jr from Newtown, PA United States
I was tired of using my old worn out remote and made the commitment to start fresh with a purchase of 2 new Key Fob shells.  First I took my old and new keys to Home Depot to have them cut.

Then I bought new batteries to be sure I started with a full strength battery.

Great investment!

5 of 5 Perfect replacement June 2, 2016
Reviewer: Imran Javaid from Aurora, IL United States
I easily replaced the transponder and immobilizer chip from the old keys and got them cut at a nearby locksmith. The new shell feels sturdier than the original Scion shell. All for 3% of what the dealer was charging. FTW

bought a 4D67 transponder chip for a second key I had cut for my scion tc.  Using my master key, i was able to program the new key w this chip in about 3 minutes saving me over $100 at the dealership!

5 of 5 Save yourself money February 1, 2016
Reviewer: Satisfied customer from Belle Isle, FL United States
Toyota cost to replace the shells on my keyless remote was robbery. I decided to google to see if I could find something more reasonable. Found remotes website and I'm so glad I did. Because everything inside my remote was functioning, all I needed was the shells. I bought two at an additional discount which was a fraction of what my Toyota dealership option to replace entire key. Ace hardware cut the key from the master and the locksmith remove the transponder and put it in the new shell. No programming needed. Time will tell, but off to a good start.

5 of 5 Scion tC 2007 Additional keys (from 1 to 3) February 1, 2016
Reviewer: Chris from Massachusetts from Metro West, MA United States
I was successful and supported at a very high level from RemotesRemotes.
I had one grey/silver button key with a transponder in it.  With the one original key. (And I believe any transponder key set up for your car will work.) I was able to make two keys. (I purchased two used 07 Scion tC button keys from a recycle yard for the button guts and transponders.) Tech Support from RemotesRemotes and, YouTube helped me a lot! Note door button frequency must match.
Yes I avoided the dealer and made 2 for less than half the cost of one! ($250 - $450 for 1)
Thank you RemotesRemotes,
Chris from Massachusetts
