I only had 1 key fob for my Jaguar S type. I ordered 2 from remotes remotes.com. I went to a local locksmith who cut the key portion and programmed them to the vehicle with no issues. I was very impressed with the quality of the key fobs. Excellent experience. Thank you!

The keys came in a timely manner.  I had my local Jaguar dealership cut and program them.  They work great and the savings was astounding when compared with purchasing the keys through the dealership.

I purchased two of these remotes because of problems I had with the factory remote. For a 2004 s-type, they can only be programmed by the dealer or some locksmiths. My locksmith was able to cut the key and program the remotes but the keys wouldn’t start the car. He had to replace the key transponder chips with different ones and then was able to get them to work with the car. At the end of the day, everything works but you may need to crack them open and replace the key transponder first.
