4 of 5 Tricky to program, Instructions in review August 10, 2026

I tried all the instructions I could find for my Quantum 3213 opener and despite all attempts I could not program the new nor the original remotes (which quit working during my attempts to program the new remote).
Eventually found @Mark Gump on youtube showing his programming method. It worked perfectly and now all my remotes are functional.
The method is:
1. Hold down remote button until light blinks rapidly, then release.
2. Repeat step #1 (Apparently this gets the remote prepared to send the signal?)
3. Press "program" button on side of opener motor unit once. Red light turns on steady.
4. Press button on remote once and release it. The Red light on opener motor unit should turn off indicating signal was saved
5. Open and close the door at will with your remote(s)
