Need dealer to program for Saab October 23, 2017 Reviewer: Dave Chandler from San Diego, CA United States   Bought two for 2008 Saab 9-3.  Quality of these key fobs seems high.  The originals that I'm replacing had the rubber covering the buttons fall apart.  I tried some other replacement shells that also didn't work and were low quality (I guess that's what I get for $10).  I haven't gotten them programmed yet.  Made calls to five local locksmiths and none of them were able to program for the Saab.  Called the dealer and was told they will program both fobs for $67.50 and cut both blanks for free - as long as I provide a working original (key blade and remote/fob).  Fortunately I have both of those.  From other stories I've read I think this price is fair compared to what some others seem to have paid or been quoted from the dealer.
